Delta Dental of Virginia (DDVA), a leading dental benefits provider, had built a successful organization focused on improving the public’s health by delivering quality dental benefits programs and services. DDVA had developed a claims processing system, DCS2000, providing customer service representatives, administrators, subscribers and dentists real-time access to claims data. This system, however, did now allow for the type of historical reporting that would help DDVA spot trends and identify new business.

Inquidia implemented the Pentaho-based application to provide web-based historical reporting of DDVA clients. DDVA was able to access summary claims information, expenses, network utilization, payments and enrollment data in a way that provided meaningful information on which to base organizational decisions
